Danielle is a loving wife of her husband Mike and proud mother of her two sons: Jayden 18 and Landen 11. She was raised in Manitouwadge, Ontario and relocated to Thunder Bay, Ontario to further her education. Danielle graduated from Confederation College in 2006 with her Social Service Worker Diploma. She is continually advancing her career by upgrading her education and has a real passion for learning new skills. She presently enrolled at Wilfred Laurier University in the Addictions program. Throughout her career she has worked with many populations but has a true passion for supporting Indigenous woman and their families. In 2017, that journey led her to Ontario Native Women’s Association. Danielle prides herself with promoting empowerment and leadership within her role as the Trauma Informed Worker, providing a safe space with a full range of services that include culturally sensitive, wholistic services, cultural teachings, practices and ceremonies.
