Currently working in Community Outreach and Engagement/ Anti Human Trafficking for Muskoka Parry Sound Sexual Assault services, Indigenous Knowledge Keeper and Pipe Carrier and Sundancer. Combines a holistic approach to Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, Indigenous Mental Health and Trauma and helps navigate and advocate thru the multi faceted health care system. Also Executive Director of Biindigen Healing and Arts - offering services , food box program, clothing exchange and access to ceremony and traditional knowledge , facilitator and Dance and Drum Performances.

interconnectedness and interdependence. The seven grandfather teachings, the sacred law
of the Anishinaabeg, show us how to lead Mino-bimaadiziwin ‘the good life' a life of
without contradiction or conflict, a life of peace and balance.

A power point presentation that provides a brief narrative of the many uses for wigwas (birch bark) and our sacred medicines. We will also have a video of Al Hunter demonstrating how to harvest wigwas that they can bring back to their communities as a educational component. Participants will learn through a hands-on experience of making birch bark earrings with porcupine quills.
